Karen Messer gained a BA (Hons) TV & Radio Production degree in 1999. Deciding against going into the cut throat world of television, she worked in London for an Internet company before taking on roles in Event Management. She continued to film and edit non professionally until she was asked to create some videos for a company which reignited her passion.     Karen set up footage fairy in 2008 concentrating solely on editing amateur, home shot footage. However, after months of research and honing her skills, she decided to return to camera work by entering the wedding market.   Working primarily alone and from home, Karen is a perfectionist and commits to each and every project seeing it through from initial consultation to final presentation.  There are no set formats, each wedding video will be tailored to the customer's requirements.    As the wedding video production field is predominantly male, she hopes that her feminine touch will add that something special to finished films. Apart from all that - she's a girl . . .  and what girl doesn't enjoy a wedding?!
