When footage fairy was established in 2008, it offered an editing only service. Although our primary focus has now moved onto weddings, footage fairy are still on hand to make your home footage into something special.
How does it work?
footage fairy take all of your home shot footage and carefully run through it selecting the 'best bits.' Next we add special effects, transitions, music and credits. If there are any still photos you would like to throw into the mix - all the better. Our main aim is to create an emotive mini movie that you'll want to watch again and again.
Why should I spend money on getting this done?
Let's be honest, how many significant moments or experiences have we lived through a view finder? The answer? Lots! Maybe you saw your best friend get married through one or watched your child's first concert through one. We are all eager to capture these precious moments but in reality, we never have the time to sit down and watch it. Mini movies can easily condense 2 hours into a fast paced, concise 20 minutes - perfect for a quick nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Gifts
Mini movies are the ultimate gift for the person or family who have everything. Mother's Day, Father's Day, milestone birthdays and of course Christmas. What better way to celebrate than with a compilation of your family events, holidays and celebrations. All you need to do is slip the tapes out without them noticing! The perfect thing to watch on Christmas Eve as a family. We can also scan in old photos and add them to the film if necessary.
Babies and Children
Our little cherubs grow up so fast but when will you ever really watch the hours upon hours of gurgling and falling over? footage fairy have created an abundance of videos for parents summising their little one's early years. It is very common to add photos to these videos as well. Not only is it great to watch yourselves, but the kids love watching it too . . .over and over again! The best thing is, that once you've paid for the editing, footage fairy can makes copies as gifts for the grandparents.

Our memorial tribute videos are in essence, a poignant visual eulogy. Using still images and/or video footage, they create a beautiful and lasting tribute. For most, photos with soft music, subtle movement and gentle transitions create the perfect tone. However, some prefer an upbeat, lively presentation to celebrate the life of the person they have lost.
